Elder Charles Harrison Mason Patterson, Sr. succeeded his father, the late Bishop J. O. Patterson, Jr., as pastor of the historic Pentecostal Temple Institutional Church Of God In Christ. Elder Patterson is the great grandson of COGIC founder, Bishop C.H. Mason.
