Pastor Donnie McClurkin Celebrates 10 Years!

Those who know Donnie McClurkin, would quickly agree that his passion for music is far surpassed by his passion for ministering the Word and pastoring. On this past weekend, he celebrated 10 years of dynamic ministry at the Freeport-based, Perfecting Faith Church. the festivities included a banquet, concert and Sunday service with several special guests!

I am bless to be part of Perfecting Faith Church ministry where the Word of God is taught and the presence of the Lord is tangible. I thank God for the Bible Institute which truly has been a blessing to me and fellow students. God bless Pastor Donald MCClurkin and his 10 years of service to the Lord and people of Perfecting Faith Church. We are truly being perfected. Ephesians 4:11-13.
I am also a member and I have to say that I have learned alot at PFC. I didn’t realize the affect that my last church had on my life until I left. I felt myself dying spiritually and being smothered with garbage and drama. When you feel like going to church is a chore, it is time to leave and that is how I felt. I feel comfortable, and I can testify that I am not on my way to being fluent in American Sign Language and I can thank PFC. Pastor had Sign language classes there and I started taking them. I was so amazed at how we incorporate languages into all of our services and even deaf people started coming to the ministry. He made me really believe and live that Ministry means people. I have volunteered at the Annual Thanksgiving and Christmas feedings for six years and have seen how these events changed the lives of these people was amazing! They were visitors and became members just from this act of kindness. All I can say is Happy 10th year anniversary to Pastor Donnie McClurkin and the Perfecting Faith Church family.. may God continue to send the wounded, lost, rejected, and broken hearted to be repaired by the love and affections provided by this ministry.

I lived in Freeport from 1977-2000. I lived 5 minutes from Main Street (lived on Craig Ave & Pennsylvania Ave). My husband & I moved Dec 2000. I’m so sorry we never had a chance to be at your church. However, we listen to your inspiring songs eveytime we’re riding in the car. You have helped to develop a deep love for our Reedeemer & Savior, Jesus; to proudly call Him my friend. My husband (newly baptized–Thank you Jesus!)was very much influenced to learn and study because of your passion that comes through in your music. We attend Calvary Chapel of the Palm Beaches in Greenacres, FL.
